LEGAL
Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Metaor’s mobile application, website, and related Services. The contracting entity is METAOR LABS LIMITED, Hong Kong.
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Eligibility and restricted use
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age required in your jurisdiction, and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for confirming that your use of the Services is lawful where you live and where you access them.
You may not use the Services if you are subject to sanctions, located in a jurisdiction where the relevant feature is prohibited, acting for a restricted person, or using a VPN, proxy, false information, or another method to bypass geographic, legal, security, or feature restrictions. We may screen activity and restrict access when reasonably necessary for compliance, safety, or fraud prevention.
2. What Metaor does
Metaor provides technology for discovering digital assets, viewing market and blockchain information, connecting wallets, preparing or routing transactions, and using social, profile, portfolio, ranking, referral, or other Web3 features. Availability varies by jurisdiction, network, asset, device, and account.
Metaor is not a bank, custodian, broker, exchange, investment adviser, fiduciary, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Information, rankings, risk labels, AI output, prices, and transaction quotes are for general information only and are not financial or investment advice or a recommendation to transact. You make your own decisions and should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
3. Wallets and transactions
Metaor is designed to be non-custodial. We do not receive or store your private keys or seed phrases. Wallet creation, authentication, signing, recovery, and export may involve third-party wallet infrastructure and are subject to that provider’s terms.
You are responsible for your wallet, credentials, device, and every signature you approve. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. Metaor cannot recover assets sent to a wrong address or lost through compromised credentials, phishing, malware, device loss, or social engineering.
Transactions depend on independent blockchains, protocols, smart contracts, relayers, liquidity providers, RPC providers, and other third parties. Quotes and displayed prices are estimates or time-limited opportunities, not guarantees. Slippage, price impact, fees, network congestion, MEV, token restrictions, failed transactions, and delayed settlement can change the result.
4. Digital-asset risks
Digital assets can lose some or all of their value. Tokens and protocols may be volatile, illiquid, manipulated, exploited, abandoned, restricted, or affected by forks, governance changes, scams, or regulatory action. Public blockchain activity is generally visible and permanent. You should use only assets and amounts you can afford to lose.
5. Accounts and community features
Keep account information accurate and protect your login methods. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. Do not impersonate others, manipulate rankings or rewards, create abusive duplicate accounts, publish unlawful or harmful content, harass or dox people, infringe rights, scrape the Services, attack our systems, or use bots to manipulate activity.
You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant Metaor a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the Services. We may remove content or restrict an account when necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.
6. Fees, rewards, and third parties
Metaor may charge fees shown in the app or on the website. Blockchain gas, protocol, routing, wallet, bridge, and other third-party costs may also apply and may change before settlement. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees for submitted or irreversible activity are non-refundable.
Referral, creator, reward, and promotional programmes are discretionary. We may change, pause, withhold, or reverse rewards for fraud, self-referral, manipulation, technical error, or rule violations. Third-party services and links have their own terms and privacy policies; Metaor does not control or endorse them.
7. Availability and enforcement
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue a feature, asset, network, route, account, or the Services at any time for maintenance, risk management, legal compliance, provider failure, or security reasons. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or profitable operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metaor is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by blockchains, wallets, protocols, third parties, market movements, or your failure to secure your account. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, software, designs, trademarks, data compilations, and other materials belong to Metaor or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use them for their intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, misuse, or create a competing service from them.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre under its rules, except where mandatory law permits a court action or prevents arbitration. Nothing limits either party’s right to seek urgent protective relief from a competent court.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@metaor.app.
